Who We Are

We are members of the International Association of Fire Fighters, Local 296.

Employed by the City of North Vancouver, our 58 members provide Fire and Rescue services to North Vancouver City's population of approximately 50,000 people. We also provide mutual aid to our neighbours in the District of North Vancouver and the District of West Vancouver.

Local 296 members also contribute to the community through cash donations and by participating in or organizing fund-raising events when they are not at work. See the News page of this website for more information

North Vancouver City’s Fire Services are based in Fire Hall Number 1, which is located on the corner of 13th Street and St Georges Avenue in North Vancouver, British Columbia.
