Ladder 10:

Jaws Of Life:


| | The "Jaws Of Life" are a hydraulic cutting / spreading tool used by firefighters to free people who are trapped in damaged vehicles at motor vehicle accidents. As car makers increasingly use stronger materials to build cars, firefighters require stronger and tougher tools to pry them open! Specifications:

SCBA:

| | FireFighters use an SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) to protect them from toxic and hazardous materials in fire or chemical spill incidents. The tanks contain compressed air and will provide enough air for about 15 - 30 minutes . The backpacks also include a PASS alarm that will sound an alarm signal if the firefighter stops moving for more that 15 seconds, allowing other firefighters to locate and assist the wearer in case of emergency.
